We regret to inform the congregation, with great sadness, of the untimely petira of Meir Volk Z"L, son of our Rabbi Marc Volk. Burial was in Israel. Condolences to his family in Israel and the United States and to Rabbi and Rebbetzin Volk.
Stuart Ratner Z"L - September 17, 2007
We regret to inform the congregation, with deep sorrow, of the petira of Stuart Ratner, Z"L, one of the founding members of Young Israel of Merrick. Older members will remember Stuart building the shul, literally with his own hands. Condolences to his family.
